Sugar Water, and Other Dietary Mind Games
A while back I decided that a simple way to remind myself that pop isn't healthy was to start thinking of it as "Sugar Water", this has met with limited success so I have decided to enlarge my plan to encompass other foods and drinks.

Pop shall now be called sugar water.
Hamburgers are Fatty Patties
Sausages are tubes of flesh and fat
French fires are fat sticks
Potato chips are addictive salt chemical delivery systems
Fast food is readily available food like substances.
Coffee is Obligatory Morning Drug

I need to come up with more of these, and preferably ones that just roll off the tongue.

Soda has long since been "carbonated sugar water". And literally, whenever someone will ask me if I want something at the store, I'll muse "Eh... get me some lemon-lime carbonated sugar water".

I've had to condition myself not to say "carbonated sugar water" at restaraunts.

The stuff is HORRIBLE for my teeth, and I know that. I can literally watch my teeth go from brilliant white to translucent over the course of a day if I have steady access to soda. I know this. I still drink it.

I went from drinking like five cans of pop a day to like 2 cans pers week.

I'm very proud of myself. now if I could just get rid of the addictive salt delivery systems... and other candy... I'd be okay.

oh that... and not work 10 hours so I can actually GET to the gym. >.
